Okay, weekend roundup. I saw Run Lola Run this weekend. And man, can that girl run. I really liked it, and give it a Yabba Dabba Doo! on my onomatopoeic rating scale. Fun movie, engaging, modern, etc...most likely, what you've heard about it is about right on. Deep? Yeah, but not earthshatteringly so. I'd say, it was a clever, slightly heavy-handed way to drape a philosophical question with an enjoyable action drama. |
