Except that you can't make these comparisons. LSI won't get the valuations of those smaller communications and storage chip companies [NSM ignored] (for 'obvious' reasons not the least of which is that they are likely better at their niches than LSI is and more so because the biz models are totally different as LSI has other slower growth areas and LSI has an expensive fab etc).

It will be a cold day in Heck before LSI is awarded even something 'close' to those kinds of valuations. In addition some of the smaller companies are in 'bubble' mode. I own some of them and I know a bubble when I see it.
