I think we agree short term.

I do see long term advantages for RDRAM - perhaps in 2 years when the process is fast enough that RDRAM yields and costs will approach SDRAM.

The big tell tale to me was the 3 speed grades 600/700/800Mhz. Clearly they are having speed/bin problems yielding at 800Mhz and that cannot be good for ASPs.

With the next process generation they will have no problem yielding at 800Mhz.

SO we are probably 2 years away before the memory has a real chance at displacing PC133 SDRAM.
