THe contract was with MSFT, and it clearly spelled out it was with the ESG, not the whole company. How else should they have stated it? I agree it does not appear to be that big a contract, but FSTW has been struggling to place the Netgain system, and any contract is a PR event for them. I don't think it's FSTW's fault that the daytraders and MMs decided to run it like they did today. FSTW could have provided the contract details, but I don't think they were obligated to do so. FSTW just issued the PR, the daytraders swooped in and did the rest.

This is not like CC SI who releases PR's that don't mean much because the product is suspect. Netgain is a real product, currently shipping, but without much visibility (before now). I think if I got a contract with any portion of MSFT, I'd announce it too.
