Craig, I am thrilled that Intel blinked before I did. <g> But, in all honesty, the insistence on Rambus chips was always a heavy-handed bit of bullying and bribing by Intel. I think this dooms Rambus, though the article makes it sound like that isn't the case. If given the choice of not buying an overpriced chip that does nothing, I think most folks will opt not to throw their money down the rat hole. <g>

Just wish I'd bought more puts.
