I dont think he's worried about equity inflation; I think he's worried about strength in retail and labor. Raising margin requirements wont address these spectres. The pisser is that FOMC must raise rates before inflation really takes hold, because history shows there is an 18 month lag for the intended effect to occur (in this case, a moderating effect on economic growth). While I'd love it if FOMC never again raised rates, that's unrealistic. A hike of
0.25% coming tomorrow, like it or not.
