I'm so mad at myself I could spit nails. I had quite a few notes
from last years annual meeting and can't find a thing. As far as I can
remember the system is in the range of 25 million and could be up and
running some time in 1998. It is purported to be the most efficient
system for the oxide ores and the recovery rate is higher than other
methods. I am sure it was in the 96% range. With BYG estimating
186 USA per oz when they get Nansen in full swing I believe the new
mill will do as well. The old pit from Yukon copper is so big it will
take tailings for several generations. I believe there is a plan to
build a cyanide leaching system next to the P.O.plant and it was
explained something in the tailings of the Oxidation system or the
materials in the pit itself would neutralize everything and there is
no environmental problems. This pit would be very much like the one
Utah mines had up near Holberg on Vancouver Island. I am hoping to
get a call from a chap that was at the meeting with me as see what
he remembers. The Placer Dome/Campbell Red Lake mine has a similar
system and it is explained on there home page.(missed the URL) but
no cost figures etc. I'll get back on this when I can dig up more.

As a guess only I would think any big trades on the stocks like BYG
is insiders selling to raise cash or to let special interest parties
in at the current low price. As I remember the system years ago you
had to keep the brokerage firms happy if you wanted there help but
seeing as we don't appear to be in the "help wanted ads" it was a
lucky buy for some person(s).
