The component problem may not be as bad as some people fear. The complete statement about the component shortage in the PR is:

"Component shortages limited production growth and margin improvement of the Company's phone products in the third fiscal quarter of 1999. These shortages are expected to continue and could affect the Company's results in the fourth fiscal quarter of 1999."

So this fabulous quarter just ended was affected, and with the problem "continuing" "could" affect the fourth quarter too. So this quarter would have been even better without the shortage, and there is nothing in the PR to say that the next quarter will be affected to a greater or even equal extent.
