Here's some news from Dow Jones: "...In other earnings news, Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) posted third-quarter operating net of 75 cents a share, compared with analysts' view of 63 cents. The company said component shortages hurt its production and limited margin growth in the third-quarter. Additionally, Qualcomm said the component shortages may hurt its fourth-quarter results. In response to the news, shares of Qualcomm plummeted to 152 1/2, said Instinet, from the regular session close of 158 11/16, up 7/16, or 0.3%, for the day..." --RT
