Let's see. I'm an institutional money manager. I'm looking for the next "castle in the sky" stock. Do I buy the commodity producer where there is an oversupply of all factor inputs relative to demand, and where supply vastly exceeds demand, or do I buy the one which owns the standards and IPRs and where industry demand is outstripping supply causing factor input shortages. Hmmmmn. Decisions, decisions. Morgan P.S. Anyone hazard a guess as to where IBM and MSFT institutional money goes tomorrow?
