This should put to rest any rumors about Brocade getting any business from Sun. They just passed the point of no return by putting out this press release. Announcing that you are going to compete head to head with Sun, should give IBM, HP, etc cause for thought on whether they want to deal with Brocade. I had heard that this is the direction that Brocade was going to employ long term, but competing with potential OEM deals is bad business in my view.
