Bill - Re: payment on order processing.

I once ordered a product at buy.com. They billed my credit card the day after I submitted the order. A couple of days later, I received an email stating that they did not have the item in stock and that I could cancel the order with no penalty, if that is what I wanted. It wasn't, so I didn't. A couple of weeks later, I noticed that my account had been re-credited (that is to say they gave me my money back). Upon contacting them, I learned that they were not able to fill my order at all (long, separate, story) and that I should have gotten an email to that effect (sometime after the email I did get). This is not exactly what I call acceptable service and, needless to say, I have no intention of ever buying anything there again.
