Jesse Ventura for Pres....<< Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura refused to sign a proclamation proclaiming the first Thursday in May to be a day of prayer, typically issued in conjunction with Congress' National Day of Prayer.

"I believe in the separation of church and state. We all have our own religious beliefs. There are people out there who are Atheists, who don't believe at all. ...They are all citizens of Minnesota, and I have to respect that," he said.

Ventura can be reached at Office of the Governor, 130 State Capital, St. Paul Mn 55155, fax (651-296-2089), governor@state.mn.us >>

What a breath of fresh air compared to the typical demagoguery shown by most politicians. I propose that Jesse runs for president, and that the rules be changed so that the presidency goes to whoever wins 2 out of three falls.
