Marginmike, When I called AT&T said changed number at last minute. I was off line during call so just now saw your message. I hope you got number. Call was very positive.
1. Estimates should start at 86 cents per quarter with growth based on questions from analysts and comments from company.
2.Can sell as many thin phones as they can make.
3. Expect continued growth in asic sales with positive 1.2 book to bill.
4. Royalty growth rate expected to be as least as large as 2nd to 3rd quarter.
5. Earnings next year will be held down slightly by change in tax rate and number of shares outstanding.
6. Hand set production now 850,000 per month.
7. Parts shortage same for all manufacturers. Expect to get production up despite shortages but margins may be less.
8. Cars and Pc makers are future markets for asics.
9. Japan growth great. Currently trying to bring last to Japan builders to use asics.
10. Thin phone should go from 20% for quarter just ended to 50% of phones next quarter. Should have better margins.
11. Sees slightly higher expenses for selling as percentage but lower G&A.

Based on above and questions, many earnings increases should start as early as tomorrow. Also, more news will probably follow after public offering. Mentioned restrictions on comments at first of call.
Good luck to all,
Robert d.
