The link you cited contains a satirical piece (at least I assume it is satirical) on people who do devious things (Bashing). THIS thread on bad advice is actually too narrow to encompass such things. Here we seek examples of advice that is bad more because the purveyors are inept than because they are sophisticatedly devious.
