Saturn <I am neither a lawyer, nor a Microprogrammer, but I will do my best to explain to the thread.>
I appreciate your sincere attempt. After many
of replies, do you now see how you are confused
with the subject? So, is ICM microcode a vital part
of the 486 product, or is it a non-essential support
tool?
<The courts had ruled that copying of Microcode is
also protected by copy right laws>
When the court has ruled this? Before AMD has
created the product, or only after Intel suied
them?

And finally: did you "blatantly" lie stating that
"in all instances the AMD code was identical to the
Intel Microcode"?

So, please, give all these monikers a rest,
and think yourself.
