"I sold a few stocks at losses today to keep my portfolio balance steady. THIS is what I DIDN'T do last year, when I took a MAJOR hit this very week" I remember this week well last year...another turning point for the market. I'm somewhat surprised how closely the trend reversals are in sync with those of last year...and for that reason am somewhat suspicious about it continuing...but so far it has...I'm about half cash. Still having trouble resisting 'bargains'...that will most likely become bigger bargains... I fully expect a big sale between now and the end of the year... "from the moment I mentioned my buy, it fell nearly a full dollar"...I went thru the same thing yesterday on ADP ( I mentioned it here)...you may have to break out the RAID! "Now when I put something in SAM, I do NOT post it anywhere" - what does SAM stand for...and how do you get the word out without posting it on your thread...? You have some excellent strategies and lot's of patience...two things I could use more of.... SR
