Out here in Seattle, Softie also has to worry about internet folks leaving for greener pastures like Amazon, Real Networks, Go2Net, Drugstore.com, Infospace and many others. You don't have to go far to find a job with another promising internet company. Keeping talent has always been a factor and that's why I think the tracking stock is a done deal. They probably let it leak to the WSJ as a trial balloon and the market's reaction was definitely positive.
