Kerry,

<< 2. He predicts THE hottest IPO this week ( tomorrow ) will be MP3.COM, followed by Gadzoox ( ZOOX )..I believe the words that he or Kangas used to describe ZOOX was a "screamer". ROFLMAO. >>

That is very interesting that this guy thinks it will be a 'screamer' yet probably does not have a clue what Fibre Channel or Storage Area Networks are. And I thought most of Wall Street was catching on (are there a lot of people really missing the brcd, ancr, mtic, emlx, qlgc, etc...FC sector moves?).

This whole paradigm (at least stock wise) appears to be catching most people by surprise. Heck, I've been dreaming of Fibre Channel buzz for so long, that now that its here, I am still very surprised by the power of the sector movement in such a short time.

<< 4. Reeves advised investors to wait ( 1-2 months?? )before jumping in on hot IPO's. >>

It is very good for Reeves to point out how risky an IPO is, bc they ARE RISKY. But if someone is going to jump in on an hot IPO someday, I don't know if there ever is a good time from waiting. One is still rolling the dice, because I assume hot IPOs stay up at outrageous valuations even if they come down some from their highs. I can't help but think if someone bought BRCD on their first day of trading (~33-45), one would be up significantly in a short period and would have never had a chance to see it there again. I don't know when Brcd will find that range again, but I doubt anytime soon.

i couldn't get any ZOOX at the IPO, but tomorrow I am personally looking to buy some if i can below 35 bucks. A VERY RISKY plan, and not recommended to anyone by any means, but these FC companies have been good to me lately. ;-)

all imho,
pigboy
