Remember April, 1997? That was when NVLS lost some patent cases against AMAT and their price dropped 17% in a day. It appears that this company, like AMAT and LRCX, is pretty resourceful, and of course, the large drop was a good time to start or add to a position. Has Mr Hill's hesitation signaled the end of a viable company? Is the street reacting a bit too strongly?

For interest: try looking at 100-month charts (right here on this board) of AMAT, LRCX and NVLS.

For the record: I have owned all three since 1996, with my largest stake in AMAT, middle in NVLS, smallest in LRCX.
