Yes, this definitely rates as the next bombshell in the Intel/AMD saga. What I'm wondering is: "what are Coppermine users expected to use for chip sets and dram in Nov when it ships in volume in PCs?" Are they supposed to use Camino+drdram or should they take the hint from Intel and use "something"+PC100? And what would "something" be for a chip set since I haven't heard that Intel is supporting Coppermine with any chip set except Camino. So what's a poor OEM to do? It is all very strange and the strangest part is why didn't Intel come out with this statement a long time ago?
