e-mail from Mike Mulshine Oracle has had a project that is code named "Sedona" (not Sedona GeoServices, Inc.) that is involved in developing certain Object-oriented database management capabilities for Oracle. I don't know much about Oracles internal "Sedona" project, but I do know that it has noting to do with Sedona GeoServices and is not a GIS related project and does not compete with Sedona GeoServices in the GIS (Geospatial Information Systems) software arena.
