I'm not very interested in what the press does. I am interested in the reactions and feelings of the people around me. And I found a great deal of reaction to JFK, Jr.'s death around me. Much more so than I would of thought. And these were intelligent, educated folks unswayed by the press. Duh, they have minds and hearts of their own. Who would have thought it.
