Destroy Iraq because of Kuwait ( and stopping Saddam from contemplating a move into Saudi ) "becasue it was the right thing to do" Destroy Yugoslavia over ethnic cleansing because it was the "right thing to do" Given the Tiawanese struggle for independence, I don't see how the US would be able to stay out of it if China launched a attack. They might get some help from Japan, but will anyone else help ? I don't know. If the US stays out of it will North Korea get a brainstorm and start moving south ? Could get Very Ugly Very Quickly. Fortress North America is sounding like a better idea all the time. Time to take "Star Wars" off the shelf.
