Bull Market's brief comment on yesterday's news:

$$$$$ E+Trade Posts Loss But Accounts, Trading Jump

NEW YORK (Reuters) - E+Trade Group Inc. Monday posted a
smaller-than-expected
quarterly loss as the No. 2 Internet brokerage increased its account
base by
more than a third and processed a record number of stock trades.
The brokerage, which is based in Menlo Park, Calif., lost $24.2 million,
or 10
cents per share, in its fiscal third quarter ended June 30, primarily
because of
a six-fold increase in advertising spending. This compared with a profit
of $5.1
million, or 3 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.

Commentary:

Nothing but good news here. Still glad we hung onto these guys!
