If a man lives a false life, all the time pretending to be something he isn't, doesn't he create his own punishment? If a person is living with a false front, doesn't that imply that he feels that false front is "better" somehow? Doesn't that imply that he feels another persona(and a false one at that) is somehow better than his own true nature?

My opinion is that by living contrary to your own true nature, you create your own punishment.
