You should actually look into the history of Iomega's former relationship to 3M and OR technology to discover why the share price is dropping as it is. Iomega's share price drop is possibly more due to an orchestrated attack than fundamental change.

The market gave up on American Power Conversion and Read Rite too. Their fundamentals hadn't changed. The markets perception changed. Once the market decided to switch gears, back up they went.

In Iomega's case, the perception has changed, not the sales, or their increase. Perception has been created for this company by powerful market forces, be in competition, media and otherwise. Hope deferred makes one ill. But, just as certain as hope fades, greed remains and Iomega will come back on good sales data.

Iomega is a $30 company trading in the low teens, and may go lower relative to technical analysis. But, what relevance does $14 have to a company which will most likely be trading in the $30s a year from now?

But, like most short traders, they gamble on a short term consequence. The announcement today regarding the relationship of Kodak and Intel for digital memory is part and parcel of a direct consequence of Iomega's n-hand. I guess this time they're taking this small company serious?

Liars increase exponentially when there's a crucifixtion.
