Glenn,

I'm not happy with the way COMS has been performing either, but I wouldn't characterize COMS as weak. I bought my first thick net ethernet transceiver from COMS back in 1985. They've dominated the network infrastructure business since that time. BTW that was a 10Mb/sec. network. Its been 10 years going from 10 to 100Mb/sec. Its only been in last few years that COMS has become successful in the higher margin businesses of routers and switches. They've always been on the low margin side of things and I think that make them strong, not weak. If INTC hadn't taken a swipe at COMS, COMS would have had another record sequential earnings increase this last quarter(even with all the R&D spending they're doing). COMS has a lock on the high volume, low margin equipment channels. If they can continue to increase penetration into the higher margin business, they're going to be golden.

Just rambling ;-)
