If you read the latest issue of PC Magazine you will see a co. which currently sells 10mbps wireless lans and it was reported that an "un-named" company is soon to release a 100mbps lan. If this is so, then someone has the receiver / transmitter for short distances at under $500.00, but I guess the question remains, can it go the distance?
