visionthing, "they beat them at their own game." I think you just may be right about that. I wonder how many sales of VIAS 133 chip will be "frozen" while INTC is "evaluating" the technology? Who's going to go out on the limb with VIAS when there is the potential that INTC will come out with a report that validates their original decision to forego PC133.... I love a good chess game. bp
