It all lends more credibility to the theory that behavior, not some physical event or limitation, will be the end of the human species. We have an unstoppable need to continue to improve ourselves/our technologies. The stick wasn't good enough, the club wasn't good enough, the gun wasn't good enough, the H-bomb wasn't good enough, etc. God/nature will not destroy mankind - mankind's inability to control it own 'improvement' behavior will be its downfall. If not the Big Bang machine, something else will do it.
