CrossKeys - Nortel Networks Teams With CrossKeys to Make It Easier to Manage Multi-Vendor Networks

Nortel Networks(TM) (NYSE:NT - news; TSE:NTL - news) and CrossKeys (Nasdaq:CKEY - news; TSE:CKY - news) announced today that they have teamed up to enable service providers to manage multi-vendor ATM networks more simply and cost-effectively. Today's announcement enhances Nortel Networks' Integrated Network Management (INM) portfolio to provide comprehensive network management functionality across multiple technologies and vendors. For CrossKeys, the agreement advances the company's multi-vendor mediation software portfolio.

As a first step in this collaboration, Nortel Networks has licensed its interface specification to CrossKeys to develop an ATM mediation software product to extend the reach of Nortel Networks' INM multi-vendor portfolio. This will enable service providers to manage multiple vendors' networks and elements seamlessly, through Nortel Networks' INM.
