Website To Launch 'Multipath Movies Technology' That Will Instantly Play Interactive 3D
Movies
LOS ANGELES--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--July 20, 1999-- Fox Kids Network (Fox Kids) and Brilliant Digital
Entertainment, Inc. (AMEX:BDE - news), a pioneering content and tools developer for the Internet, have entered into an
agreement to bring certain Multipath Movie titles to the Fox Kids Website, it was announced today by John P. Roberts, Vice
President of New Media, Fox Family Worldwide, and Lisa Eisenpresser, Vice President of Strategic Development, Brilliant
Digital Entertainment. The ''Webisodes'' are slated to launch this fall, and will allow for corporate sponsorships, to be managed
by Fox Kids, under a revenue sharing arrangement.
The Fox Kids Website, at foxkids.com, will feature a Multipath Movie theatre powered by Brilliant's proprietary
technology, the most advanced digital entertainment kids can experience on the web. The programming is easily viewed by
downloading and installing Brilliant's free Digital Projector(TM), which is available from the site.
With just a click of the mouse, kids can instantly play 3D interactive ''Choose Your Own Nightmare'' Multipath Movies based
on Bantam Double Day Dell's popular series of books for young readers. At various points throughout each Multipath Movie,
kids can choose the direction or path the plot will follow. These decisions will determine the stories' final outcome. Each movie
will include different story lines, streaming, full-screen 3D graphics, and an entertaining blend of action, adventure and prankster
comedy. A new Webisode will be featured every month, including ''How I Became A Freak,'' ''The Curse Of The Mummy,''
''Halloween Party,'' and ''Night Of The Werewolf.''
