Mark: Nope, doesn't worry me. I just like to look outward from the obvious. Seems to me that phones will become handheld computers themselves much sooner than most of us expect. Data is the future in wireless IMO BTW. But then the PC itself will fade into a secondary position. Server farms will be where the data is stored - not the desktop and certainly not the phone. Ergo my interest in the "shape" the future desktop communication device might take in addition to what form and function the handhelds will be in.

Agree that wireless handhelds (phones or other wireless devices which handle data well) are key.

Just working outward from that assumption.
