Rocky Mountain -- Fuzhou -- Drug Co. Ltd. formed in China
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 1999-- R.M. Ginseng Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Rocky Mountain Ginseng, Inc. (OTC BB:RMGG - news), legally owns two companies in China, namely Fuzhou Rocky Mountain Ginseng Inc. and the F.F. Drugs Co. Ltd.
These two companies have specific importing, processing and marketing rights.
To optimize these rights and to facilitate establishing an efficient integrated production and marketing company in China the management of these companies has completed the necessary formalities to merge these companies under the name of Rocky Mountain (Fuzhou) Drug Co. Ltd.
This week the Fujian industry and commercial paper will release a story on this merger and describe the new company's business activities, which is the first step in the company's media campaign to introduce its expanded production line, the company logo and brand names to be used in China.
The merger means that the company can import, process and market a full series of American ginseng based products under the Chinese registered trademark (with the registration number of 1158687) of Rocky Mountain Brand. Further, the new company will be able to import and sell a full range of healthy food products to service this rapidly growing sector of the consumer market in China.
Another major benefit of this merger is that the new company was appointed the legal representative in China for an international drug distributor, Landmark Chemicals S.A. This is a major breakthrough for the company, as China has recently expanded its list of approved western style drugs that can be marketed in China. The new company is in the forefront of being able to take advantage of this development.
Under the new agency agreement the company is finalizing working relationships with Fujian Provincial Pharmaceutical Company, a well-established state-owned company.
