NewsEdge Corporation Names Terry Aaron Vice President, North American Sales
Veteran Sales Management Professional to Lead NewsEdge Enterprise Growth Strategy
BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 1999--NewsEdge Corporation (Nasdaq:NEWZ - news), the leading independent provider of global news and current awareness services, today announced the appointment of Terence J. Aaron to the post of Vice President of Sales, North America. Aaron brings vast industry and sales management experience to NewsEdge. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Product Management for ALLTEL Information Services, a $1 billion information services subsidiary of ALLTEL based in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In his new role, Aaron will be responsible for leading NewsEdge North American Sales and will specifically be charged with growing NewsEdge enterprise revenue, building and maintaining strong customer relationships. NewsEdge currently counts approximately 1,400 enterprise customers with approximately 640,000 authorized users. Customers include 81 of Business Week's top 100 global businesses.
