Antoine.... I've never used buy.com, I'll check them out... are you asking about the stock? Either buy or bid is a part of altavista I thought... Anyway amazon at this juncture as an investment doesn't have much to do with books/videos anymore, those are just lead-ins. You need to evaluate amzn on its new dept offerings (toys and electronics) - see what you think, the $$ in these areas will dwarf the book biz in a few months if successful, and the vc portfolio is the other key element to amzn as an investment. They have drugstore.com, homegrocer.com, pets.com and some other stuff. I know I disagree with everybody almost everywhere on amazon but I am looking at them like I would a business plan, thats the difference. I do short a lot of nets, in fact 80% of nets are short candidates at this point for me but not amzn, if you don't want to buy it, ok but don't short it.
