Bad days are over for Compaq. Now it will take off like a rocket and break 34 within next week. Dow Jones News Service via DowVision 20 Jul 13:10 NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Compaq Computer Corp. (CPQ) has selected Peter Hellman, former president and chief operating officer at TRW Inc. (TRW), to become the computer maker's new chief executive, according to CNBC reporter David Faber citing sources close to Compaq. Faber said Hellman is expected to be announced as the new CEO next week Compaq reports its earnings. Compaq and Hellman weren't available for comment, Faber said in his report Tuesday.
