I heard about Silicon Investor on the Yahoo message board for Candela (CLZR), and I call that stock (CLZR) to your attention.

Candela has a hair removal laser that is wiping out the competition - the "GentleLase" unit is cheaper and it has cooling to make it comfortable for customers. The GentleLase has been on the market for one year, and CLZR profits have been growing rapidly - quite rapidly. The stock broke through $10 like a rocket ship last April, going to $22. And then, in early May, Candela announced plans to do a secondary offering. That killed the price rise - temporarily.

The CLZR secondary, according to a source on the Yahoo message board, will be priced at the close on Wednesday, July 21, 1999. The stock is moving down today - it's at $16.75 as I write - which is customary for pre-secondary stock price behavior.

But Thursday morning, this stock will probably trade in huge volume as the secondary is placed with the underwriter's customers, and then I expect that the price will resume the rapid rise that was cut short in May.

Then the really good news happens - Candela's 4th Quarter earnings are expected out on August 16th, and the yearly earnings are expected to be well over $1 per share.

Check it out - I'd say the right time to buy is either today or tomorrow.
