>> you don't see the pentagon investing in huge catapults!<< joe, finally a subject i understand. sure the pentagon has new huge catapults. we went from man operated catapults to bullet launchers (rifles), to small bomb launchers (mortars and artillery), to big bomb launchers (b-52's and rockets). yes the catapult is alive and well just looks a little different. kinda like the horse to the horseless, or the abacus to the sliderule to the puter. interesting to note that in all catagories speed is increased with every improvement. unclewest
