J-Bird Music Group LTD Signs Exclusive Licensing Agreement with VMG for the 'Ladies of Soul' CD

CD Includes Tracks from Vanessa Williams, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Gloria Gaynor and More

WILTON, Conn., July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- J-Bird Records (OTC Bulletin Board: JBRD - news), announced today an exclusive licensing deal with VMG (Venture Music Group) for the ''Ladies of Soul'' CD. The CD includes such super star artists as Vanessa Williams, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Gloria Gaynor, Jackie Moore, Valerie Ford, Vickie Sue Robinson, First Choice, Freda Payne, Maggie, Janus and Sandra Feva.

Gene Serina, President of VMG comments, ''This CD gives the music lover a collection of hidden treasures which until now has been stored in tape vaults just awaiting discovery.''

Highlights from the CD include songs from Dionne Warwick immediately following her departure from the Scepter label, home of her classic hits; Gladys Knight sampling solo waters in the wake of her Budda hits with the Pips; and Vanessa Williams between her Miss America reign and signing her major label record deal.

The CD is set for an in-store release date of October 5, 1999 and will also be available at jbirdrecords.com e-commerce web site simultaneously.
