Badger,

There is a more simpler and more germane way to look at this, too, and has guided me to some nice gains the past year.

Net infrastructure plays are better than the rest. These are te companies who will have their products used as a function of internet usage. Yahoo, EBay, and other content providers must win customers up front, which can change quickly. Look at EBay getting its lunch handed to it by Yahoo! Auctions. Infrasturcture plays will grow based on internet growth. Looking around, you can see them, Real being included in this segment as streaming software. As broadband grows, streaming software and programs will grow with it. Even if RWNK loses some of its 80% market share, the segment will grow quickly enough that the investment should be good.

This content vs. infrastructure should be much more of a focus than it is. It is very basic, but makes common sense. And the infrastructure plays have outperformed other content plays, even pure e-commerce.
