KG4, I'm all for buying more of this stock at lower levels. The story in this stock hasn't changed and if I have the opportunity to purchase at levels substantially below today, I'll be in on the block trades...the buys, of course.....
I just fail to see why some individuals continue to use the performance of this and other stocks as a barometer for how they're going to feel at the end of the day. All of us like to see increases in our net liquidating equity. But to judge it on a day to day basis can be an effort in futility. Better to walk in a hard summer's rain and really feel like you left the rules behind...
I don't consider myself old. And the action today, percentage-wise, ain't nothing to cry about. I was around in October, 1987. Yeah, I know, that's old like the Visigoths. There's a day for you. Most fund managers were still in high school then...something to think about.....
If you're right, I have the opportunity to buy CMGI at lower levels. And in the long-term, I'll be grateful. If you're wrong, I'll just have to hope that my covered calls expire worthless and get to keep the stock. Sold the Dec 155's around 2 weeks ago for over 18. Would I be willing to see all my CMGI get called at 155 in December? At an effective sales price of 173? Sure, but why wait until December....
Congrats to all ENGA offering participants. Today, you all really shined. About the only green numbers on my screen....
Best regards,
