Hi William, I suppose I ought to let you know I'm here and appreciate your keeping this thread active. I had looked in for a couple of years but just recently decided to spend the money for a membership. This should be an important topic for me (one of your recent posts points out the importance of letting people know what your biases are) because my father bought ELN many years ago, has a lot of it and I have about 5% of my portfolio in it now too. He feels he actually got Merrill Lynch and Everen (note your post) interested in the company though I can't guess how true that is. I do have the records of when he first bought it and I don't believe they had yet located in Ireland. I have very little understanding of this company and even having tried to read their annual reports have found them most confusing with different accounting standards and conversions from punts to dollars and all. So I don't have much of value to contribute at this point but will try to improve my knowledge in the background. Sincerely, Lance
