KLP, Thank you for the kind words. A finer group than the Techriders would be hard to find, good people make great post. How lucky you are to have had a fine friend, Yankee, for 16 1/2 years.

As for the Apollo 11, boy do I remember. One of the Techriders was a IBM brat like me so I'm sure she remembers too. My Dad gave IBM (BIG BLUE) 37 years. During the race to the moon, IBM helped NASA in a major way. Dad was part of that help.

I can remember the ground shaking at school when they tested the rocket in Huntsville. And then being at the Cape when the Apollo shots were going. How giant they were. Housed in a building that had its own atmosphere, it was so big it rained in there.

To the Moon and back, thirty years ago. Way to go Dad, a standing O for all of the guys in crew cuts and armed with slide rules.
