Whoa, Tex.
Peter Sprague took National Semiconductor from receivership to $2 Billion dollars. Far be it from me to judge you, or any other detractor's lifestyle in the mix, but I'd say he has earned the right to live like a King, if that were his choosing. Nice work if you can get it, huh? I suppose if you were in his boots, (and as a long time long, I'm grateful that you're not!) you might be redeeming a nugget or two yourself. Dang! Any idea what the original issue valuation was? Just curious.
On the issue of a 60% pullback, Dagnabbit, are ya sure ya wanna play that statistical hand, cowpoke? Look back a year. Seems that WAVX, which is still in the earliest stages of a very carefully orchestrated deployment, is up over 300% from this time, July '98. Heck, it had been up over 700% fer sure, with no real reason to support it there, for dang sure, but I'm a lookin' at the horizon, as are most fellow longs.
And finally, nobody begrudges you for arguing your case. Tempers have flared here recently. You entered this here saloon just after a particularly repulsive group of vermin have fled. And I might add, to your credit, you at least attempt to support your position with facts. Right or wrong, you fight fair, and you earn people's respect for that.
Carpe Diem,
Wooly |
