Mr Gerald Harron has been appointed as a director. He will also act in the
capacity of senior vice-president of mining and exploration.
Mr Harron is president of G.A. Harron & Associates, an independent firm
which provides international consultancy on exploration geology,
geochemistry, geophysics, evaluations of both precious and base metal in
prospects, deposits and operating mines. He has given expert opinions and
qualifying reports to the Alberta, BC and Ontario securities commissions.
Mr Harron has had an extensive international mining career. His previous
work experience includes the following: vice-president for the Coniagas
Mines; district geologist for Esso Minerals Canada, senior geologist for
Dupont of Canada Exploration, research geologist for Geological Survey of
Canada (Ottawa) and for the Quebec ministry of energy and resources, and
was exploration geologist for Placer Dome.
Mr Harron will review all of the exploration activities of the company,
including the selection of properties and exploration plans. |
