Off topic ... The curse of numbers in posts

Just an observation, and not double checked for accuracy or consistency. When people put numbers in their predictions on SI, those predictions seem to turn out wrong more often than when (even the same) people are less specific. Lately, (last week or so) I've seen posts with $100, $105, and even $110 as near term targets. Today, I've seen $90, and even an $80. (The worried sole!)

I find this interesting, PW.

P.S. Probably a reflection of prevailing psychology.
