Teflon, It think this thread might seem a bit bearish on the market for a short period of time. I still hold MSFT but sometimes you have got to go with your gut feeling and either hedge and/or go short. I won't short MSFT---ever. That is just one and only principle when it comes to investing. There are other candidates like the nets, index etc. for a "short" term gain or hedge. I am still expecting a "mother" of a rally very late in the year---I still have not forgotten Windows2000 and Maffei is not going to convince me of a very slow growth rate in the next 12 months. My problem is that others might actually believe him and cause more selling pressure. It is just one of those times that even if everything is rosy for a company, the stock just won't go up.
