Nice to see all the lively discussion on GRNO of late. I find the various
perspectives and opinions interesting, but I am relying on facts from the
company and Microcap to decide the value of this investment. As for you
Ron, you have provided wonderful insight with a steady stream of information
gathered via visits to the facility, email, SAC, and phone.
I took your suggestion to contact a local motor oil recycler and found that
there several small "collectors" but just one processor in the metro
area where I live. The collectors will haul the oil at no charge if they
can pick up a minimum of 300 gallons. The haulers then are paid a nominal
amount by the processor, less than .10 a gallon for the oil.
The processors in this area filter the oil and then blend it with what they
called bunker oil and then resell it to business for use in the maritime industry.
I asked if there was much profit in the oil recycling. He told me it was one
of the least profitable things they do and that the business offers the service
as a courtesy to customers and the community. When I asked if they could recycle the
oil into heating oil he said, it was a much more extensive and costly
process, not worth the effort. We know that GOE has a much more profitable manner
of recycling the oil and the amount of "feed stock" available is extensive.
Aquisition opportunities for GOE seem to be vast and those that are
dredging up one deal that didnt work out (Brazil) are focusing on a very minor
matter. See you all in the double digits, long GRNO...
In closing, thank you Ron for all your efforts, I am very appreciative.
